The calculation method of the clothing button size and model
- Like model 14#、16#、18#、20#、60# etc., its conversion formula to MM is Diameter= model /0.625 (mm).
-If there is a button without model information, you should measure the button diameter, and then divided by 0.625.

- Transparent injection-molding button (injection button)

The materials of such clothing button include some transparent plastic for injection-moulding, such as transparent polystyrene, polycarbonate, acrylic resin (372.613 moulding compound), and AS resin and so on. The main features of such buttons are showed as below.
1, transparent polystyrene clothing button
This kind of buttons has excellent transparency. The raw material is cheap and has good moldability, however; it can only be used for low-grade button production due to its frangibility and poor performance in high temperature and solvent solutions.
2. Polycarbonate clothing button
Polycarbonate is a kind of engineering plastic; mostly it is used for making clothing button with string by injection moulding, owning to not only excellent transparency, but also excellent mechanical property, especially its resilience and ruggedness. The drawback is the high cost and hard to made buttons by injection moulding.
3. Acrylic resin clothing button   
Acrylic resin is a kind of plastic with excellent luminousness and transparency. The resin can be used for clothing button by injection moulding has various kinds, the major domestic models are 372、613、504 etc., whose comprehensive luminousness is not good enough. Because of the high luminousness and purity, the acrylic resin is always used for making the clothing buttons with the high purity and high luminousness which look like crystals. Currently, it is quite popular to use such clothing buttons separately or combine with other materials on the women’s fashionable clothes. The disadvantages of these clothing buttons are the low wear-resistance, low organic solvent resistance and low temperature resistance, so such buttons are not suitable for high-grade, durable clothes
4. Resin clothing button,
Resin, a copolymer of styrene and butane, which has good transparency and flexibility, is easy to make buttons by injection moulding. This material is mostly used for making transparent or semi-transparent clothing buttons which have a certain degree of flexibility.
