Soft PVC and hard PVC     

PVC can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC.                                                        Hard PVC accounts for about 2/3 of the market, and soft PVC accounts for 1/3.

Is PVC and silicone the same material?

Pvc material is not silicone material. They are two different materials.

Silica gel material is a kind of high activity adsorption material, which is an amorphous substance, its chemical formula is mSiO2·nH2O; it does not react with any substance except strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid, is insoluble in water and any solvent, and is non-toxic and tasteless. Chemically stable.

For silicone labels the MOQ is high to 2000pcs, more used as heat transfer labels.

While PVC labels the MOQ can be 100pcs, more used as sewed on labels.

What is the diffrence between Silicione and PVC?

Silicone and PVC soft products are numerous, because the products are similar, so it can be described as a large number of people. In fact, there is a big difference between the two materials.

Silicone and PVC mainly have the following differences:

  1. Silicone can be ROHS certified and is environmentally friendly.
  2. Silica gel texture is soft, feel good, and PVC products are rough.
  3. Silicone products are relatively soft, PVC products are relatively hard.
  4. The flexibility of silicone products is relatively large and PVC is not tough.
  5. Silicone products are generally made more transparent, PVC products will be made to be solid color.
  6. Silica gel products will whitish after burning, the combustion odor will be relatively small, and the product will become powdery.

The PVC products will be black after burning, and the smell will be very bad when burned.

At present, PVC labels are more common used than silicone labels on the advantage of low MOQ and price.
